Mr. Probal Ghosal

Director

Mr. Probal Ghosal, an acclaimed finance and management professional has worked across diverse sectors ranging from Engineering & Electronics, Financial Services, Media & Infrastructure. His recent advent has been creation of an inclusive healthcare Company - Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services, to bring global standards of healthcare at affordable prices to the tier II & tier III cities of India.
Since his role as Director in Times Foundation, an initiative of Times Group, Mr. Ghosal had been at the helm driving projects across different facets of societal development, including Disaster Management, Skill Development, Health, Education etc. Currently, under his guidance as Chairman, Amar Ujala Foundation, various CSR initiatives have been undertaken through outreach programs in education, health, women empowerment leading to transforming lives of millions of individuals, through meaningful partnerships with like-minded non-profit organizations, communities & governments (state and central). At Sehat Foundation also, Mr. Ghosal, is intending to create a platform for providing primary/secondary/tertiary healthcare services along with generating awareness around the overall wellbeing for the populace residing in small towns and villages at affordable price points. The objective is to collaborate with various government and local bodies/corporations to achieve this and create a comprehensive mechanism for owning the patients and keeping them healthy for their entire life span.
 

Mr. Rajul Maheshwari

Mr. Rajul Maheshwari, Chairman & Managing Director of Amar Ujala Limited (Formerly Amar Ujala Publications Limited) has been associated with the newspaper industry for more than 31 years. He has been instrumental in the expansion of Amar Ujala in western, eastern and central parts of Uttar Pradesh making it one of the leading dailies in the state. He is also associated with Amar Ujala foundation as the President and has been at the helm of driving various social initiatives like empowerment of adolescent girls and boys, Acid Survivors’ treatment, facilitating better educational opportunities for meritorious but financially constrained young students and even scaling up endeavors in the field of Blood Donation. His vision in driving these causes has been pivotal in deepening the service- outreach via these programs and generating the relevant impact for society at large.
 

Dr. Dinesh Batra

Director

Dr. Dinesh Batra is a well-known healthcare management expert with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry in India and other countries. Over last 3 decades, Dr. Batra has worked across various healthcare brands with the latest being Primus Super specialty hospital in Chanakyapuri in Delhi as the CEO. He was instrumental in establishing a 100 bedded hospital at Abuja, Nigeria under the banner of Primus Hospital. Dr. Batra is aggressively involved in administration, planning and development of the twelve hospitals, currently under Ujala Cygnus Group. On 19th August 2015, Dr. Batra, was invited by Government of Haryana in association with CII to a ‘Business Mission to US & Canada’ The prime objective of this mission was to reposition Haryana as an investment destination on the International stage with a focus on the sector like – Energy, Aerospace, Defense production including offset Manufacturing, Garments / Textiles, Food Processing, Auto/Auto Components, Healthcare, Industrial Parks, Logistics, mass rapid transport as also to seek cooperation in the field of Education/Skill development. As a part of this objective, Dr. Batra showcased Cygnus Hospital’s (now Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services) model in Haryana and how it has contributed to the healthcare needs of the state with a vision to expand in addition to projecting healthy investment environment.
 

Dr. Shuchin Bajaj

Director

Dr. Shuchin Bajaj is an avid Healthcare Investor and is associated with multiple Health Tech Companies as an investor, Board Member, and mentor. He also sits on the TBIU Board of The Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT, Delhi. He has Advised several Health Programs and has played an active part in the Healthcare Track for Xynteo’s India2022 coalition. Dr Bajaj has been a part of the Stepone core team, which is a volunteer-based organization that has been working across 22 states and cities in their fight against COVID. The project manages the important facilities like COVID helplines, plasma bank, home isolation management and managing the vaccine drive. Dr. Bajaj was the recipient of the British Government’s 2015 Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence award at King’s College London. He was also selected for ‘Innovating Health for Tomorrow” Fellowship at INSEAD, France in 2017. In addition to these achievements, Dr. Shuchin has received various awards in the field of healthcare for providing quality services and healthcare management.
